    Hi Jackie! I see that you’ve been busy with your new look! It’s real nice but I do miss the beautiful colors that you had before. Don’t worry bout me, I will get over it!!
    I have looked over your recipes a couple of times and I cannot seem to find the zucchini and squash augratin recipe with canned tomatoes.
    It’s very good. I only have made it once and don’t remember exactly how to make it. Have I overlooked it somewhere? You’re efforts are so appreciated! Thank you.

      It will take some getting used to. The new format is crisp and clean and will help the content be more visible. The recipe you’re looking for is Vegetable Gratin and I can’t seem to find it anywhere. It somehow got confused during the redesign and didn’t know where it was supposed to be. I’ve emailed the web designer to ask how we can find it. I’ll let you know as soon as we find it.

    Hi Jackie,
    I love cooking and serving my friends and family. I stumbled across Syrup and Biscuits about 2hours ago via Pinterest. I’ve been enjoying going through your recipes, notes, Southerness, Chewin the Fat etc. Great site! I will start my shopping list first thing in the morning. My family will be eating good this week!
    I was looking for a casserole recipe for my 16 year old daughter who has to turn one in for her foods class this week. We both love Sweet Potato Casserole but I didn’t have a recipe for it. I can’t wait for her to make this. She will be so excited. Last week she made a Carrot Cake from scratch for her boyfriends dads birthday. It’s his favorite cake. His family loved it and I am so proud of her. Her aunt is now wanting one for her birthday and she had to make a Butterfinger Pie for her cousins birthday today. She says she likes to cook for other people like me. I’ll say it again, I am so proud. Not many 16 year olds in the kitchen these days.
    Thank you for such a wonderful tool that will not only help me personally, but will be a great bonding tool for me and my daughter.
    I have subscribed to this site and “liked” your facebook page. Can’t wait to get started trying these recipes.

    Oh Wow!!

    WOW, I just found this website, i have been on here mostly reading comments for an hour, I have never heard of the comeback sauce but i will surely try it, it sounds heavenly, My Mom lives in Alabama in Russellville, she has family in Mississippi and i have been there before. I am from the north,cleveland, ohio, I now live in Va. but I really liked the Website, and i will be back. Thanks for all the sounthern reciepes.

    My husband and I made a peach cobber from a recipe on your site, on September 5th.We would like to make it again but cannot locate the on your site, it ‘s not the one on the site now and it does not use cinimmon or ginger. Can you help me ?

      The cinnamon and ginger is optional. Just leave it out. The only way I make peach cobbler, or any sort of cobbler, is using the same basic recipe. It seems like I did have another post about peach cobbler that I did very early in the life of this blog. I can’t find it now, either. It may have been lost when I relocated my site.
