Even though I’ve never met him in person, I feel like I’ve known Stacey Little all my life. We share a Southern heritage which means a lot to both of us. When Stacey announced his book deal with publisher Nelson Books, an imprint of Thomas Nelson, I was genuinely excited and so proud for Stacey. I knew his book would be another I would add to my growing library of cookbooks that share Southern recipes and celebrate our beloved Southern culture.
Well, the time is finally here. Stacey’s book, The Southern Bite Cookbook, releases today. Stacey sent me a copy last week so I’ve had some time to get lost in it. The cookbook represents Stacey’s personality quite well. It’s displays his love of family, our Southern culture and sho’ ’nuff good food.
You may purchase the cookbook here:
And….we’re giving you a chance to win a signed copy! And….we’re giving you a chance to win a Hamilton Beach Set ‘n Forget 6 quart programmable slow-cooker.
Wow!
I suppose you’re wondering how to enter the contest. Easy. Simply leave a comment saying which of the 9 images from the cookbook (see above) you’d like to dive into head first. The contest starts today, March 11 and runs through next Tuesday, March 18, 5:00 pm. The winner will be randomly selected and notified by email. They will have 24 hours to respond to the email without forfeiting the prizes. If the first winner doesn’t responded in a timely fashion, a new winner will be selected.
Please note: entrants must be 18 years or older and reside in US only.
I wish Stacey and Nelson Books all the best with this great cookbook. I’m sure it will be successful. It’s certainly a winner in my eyes. So is Stacey.

I’d love them all. But my choice would be the tomatoes first. I love tomatoes – fried, salted, vinegared and sugared. Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes!!!

I want to do the Lima beans! I love beans. They good for you and taste amazing, when they are cooked properly! I wouldn’t stop at the Loma beans, though. Pintos and black eyed peas are on my list as well!
