Hey, Jackie!! I have have only about 6 pieces of cast iron, some from Mama many, many years ago and a couple I bought. Grew up eating biscuits every morning baked on three 9 inch round flat biscuit bakers. I’ve got one of those. Wish I had gotten the dutch ovens but when things were divvied up after Mama died, she had designated them to go to others. I know it doesn’t count, but I bought myself a red porcelain covered cast iron dutch oven and I love that thing.

CAST IRON ROCKS! I have two dutch ovens, five skillets and several other pieces that I use when camping. I love food cooked in cast iron. Some food can only be cooked to perfection in cast iron (i.e. fried chicken, cornbread etc.)
