I have thgree pieces, and I have now decided that the more the merrier! Cast iron has changed my cooking life in many ways, but I will say that only having used cast iron cookware for just about two years, it gave me the courage to expand my menus at home and given me an energized infusion to continue on my quest to be a damned good cook. Nothing too fancy, but cast iron cookware rockes in unbelieveable!

I own 4 cast iron pans. They are my grandmothers with a wonderful patenea that you just can’t get on new ones as far as I’m concerned. I use one for deep fried foods like chicken, hey, I’m a southerner, one for my cornbread, one for eggs and the last one is for all the other miscellaneous items. Don’t you dare use anything in the wrong pan!!
