Y’all, this is like EATING a hot toddy. It is good for what ails ya! I had originally called this Baked Grapefruit. My friend, Becky Jordan, referred to it as Miss Jackie’s Hot Toddy Grapefruit. I like that name. It’s going to stick.
For each half of a grapefruit, mix 1 tbsp rum and 1 tbsp honey. I section the halved grapefuits and then pour the mixture over each half. Sectioning makes it easier for the liquid to saturate the grapefruit well. Plus, you can dig in and eat it faster! Grate fresh nutmeg over the top or use cinnamon. Let sit for at least an hour. Then, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
