I’m a big fan of making my own spice blends. You can make Homemade Fajita Seasoning for a fraction of store bought versions. I don’t use exotic ingredients.You probably have everything you need on hand.
Adjust the amount of heating by plus or minus cayenne pepper. Our tolerance is moderate.

Homemade Fajita Seasoning
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon corn starch
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
Mix all ingredients together. Store in a airtight container.
