Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Use a broiler pan or a rimmed baking sheet fitted with an oven safe rack. Spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together all ingredients.
Roll into 1-inch balls and place 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until no pink remains.Drain off any excess fat.
In a medium saucepan, mix add all ingredients. Heat over medium heat until preserves have completely melted.

If serving immediately, add the cooked meatballs to the sauce gently stir to coat with the sauce. Simmer gently for 20 to 30 minutes, then keep warm until serving.
To slow cook: place the cooked meatballs in a slow-cooker and pour the warm sauce over the top. Simmer on low for 2 hours, then keep warm until serving.
COOK'S NOTE: If using frozen meatballs in a slow-cooker, increase the cooking time to 4 hours on low, or until the meatballs are heated through.
