make the filling:
Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Stir until apples are well coated.
Pour into the prepared pie crust. Mound apples toward the center. Place on a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil.
make the crumble topping:
In a same mixing bowl you used for the filling (no need to mess up another one), add flour, brown sugar, butter cubes. Rub in the butter with your fingers, or use a pastry blender, until the mixtures looks like crumbles.
Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over apple filling.
Bake in a 400 degree preheated oven for 50 minutes or until topping is brown and filling is bubbly.
Let cool before serving.
