Made this last night for dinner and WOW. I had a fairly small crockpot with just 2 porkchops. Since it was hard to baste, I flipped them so the one on top was on the bottom a few times. By hour 5, it was hard to flip them because the meat was falling off the bone! My partner was thrilled. Thank you for this recipe!

That sounds so good and the picture is just delicious! 4 chops would not be enough for my family though. I would like to double your recipe and cook 8 chops in the oven at around 350 covered for about 45 mins then uncover for 10 - 15 mins. What you think about, doable?

Misty,

They should be perfectly fine. The worse that could happen is that they get so tender they fall apart. I think can of a lot worse things. :). My setting probably said "low" instead of "slow", too.

I am trying this today. My slow cooker does not have a "slow" setting...only High 4 hours, High 6 hours, Low 8 hours and Low 10 hours. Diane,

I think my slow cooker is 5 quart but I can't be certain. It's oval in shape and has the removable bowl. I would say pare down the recipe to the amount of pork chops you think you can fit in your slow cooker.
