Hey Jackie!! When we visit Ireland a few years back all we saw was what they called “Brown Bread “ which looked exactly like your recipe produced. It was fabulous! I’ll have to try your recipe this year in addition to the recipe that my mother made for my dad! Which always had caraway, butter a bit of sugar and raisins. Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I haven’t tested it using only white flour and not any whole wheat. I would suggest that you start with 5 cups of white flour and gradually add more flour to the batter until it’s no longer sticky.

What if you do not want to use wheat flour ? If you use all purpose flour do you still use 6 cups total ?
