I haven’t had the dish you mentioned but someone told me about mashed sweet potatoes with jalapeño peppers. I’m going to experiment with that this week.

My pineapple and celery survived this latest cold spell. I have them planted on the south side plus our pool cage offers protection from the cold winds and frost.

I remember one winter in Apopka that it was so cold and the power went out. The water pump couldn’t work so we had no water but we did have a fireplace. I went out and chopped wood and we cooked for 3 days in the fireplace. It does get cold in Central Florida. 🙂

I didn’t make these chili roasted sweet potatoes but I wish I had. They look amazing.
