I LOVE buckwheat honey. Quite possibly more than clover honey. And I love buckwheat pancakes, but had never thought of combining them! Off to brainstorm on my own now…

When it comes to loyal friends, you are at the top of the list. I’m YOUR biggest fan.

I don’t find the buckwheat to be a strong flavor. If she eats bananas, this would be a great first try for buckwheat pancakes. The blueberry maple butter is really good with them, too. Then, pouring her favorite syrup all over would put it over the top. Buckwheat pancakes are great way to add whole grains into a diet. I’ll cross my fingers and hope that Jamie likes these. 🙂

This recipe looks incredible. I’m trying to incorporate healthier eating for Jamie, she’s 15, and I think this fits the bill!!!!!!!!!!! Is the buckwheat a strong flavor?

I always have to smile at how much alike we are. I ADORE buckwheat honey. I hadn’t had it in a while, and while at the farmer’s market last weekend, guess what I bought? Our local honey doesn’t seem to be any thicker, but it is darker and more flavorful, I think. It is also cheaper. I wonder why?
As always, you make my stomach growl.

Yummy yummy yummy!! My mouth is watering just thinking about the deliciousness of these pancakes. I’ve never heard of buckwheat honey but I’m definitely going to be doing some exploring for it now.

Absolutely Syrup and Biscuits was meant to be! It’s my very favorite blog…. food or otherwise. I smile just seeing the name come across my facebook wall. 🙂
