This apple dapple cake is absolutely the most moist and delicious cake you could eat. It screams fall! Made this for thanksgiving and it was a hit.

We usually make chocolate birthday cakes but this was a refreshing change. It was quick and easy to make and our whole family raved. One more thing-I love using heavy whipping cream or half and half for caramel sauce-have you ever tried ether of these instead of regular milk? What do you think would happen?

You could freeze the cake, then thaw it when wanting to use and make the glaze fresh and pour over thawed cake. I think that would work. I really liked this cake.
