Hi Jackie
I see that Eight o’clock coffee is sold at Walmart here in California, so I’ll check it out.
You have enriched my life so much, really!, with your Southern recipes and charm so, that I want to share something with you.
Her website is http://www.evanhealy.com and her products are amazing. Listen to her video. She just gets it when it comes to skin. I use her products and they are unbelievable and not expensive! She is a holistic estetician and her products are from organic plants and they are phenomonal!!
I’m lucky cuz I live a couple of blocks from an organic food coop and they sell her products there.
just thought I would share somethin with ya,
Sandra
I don’t see ALAGA syrup on your list…I can’t eat my biscuits without it! Other than that, your grocery favs look like mine…right down to the Eight O’Clock coffee that we grind fresh each morning and the Luzianne tea we brew every day!
Just found your site via Pinterest and love it! Born and raised here in FL (except for the few years spent traveling while my Dad was in the Navy), so I love what you’re doing here…keep up the good work!

Donna,
ALAGA syrup wasn’t something I grew up with. It’s wonderful that you can still find your favorite today!
I’m so glad you found us tucked away in our little corner of the world.
Welcome home!
So excited to see Duke’s make it to your list. I grew up in North Carolina, but now live in Minneapolis, and I have to order the stuff in. Nothing ever tastes right otherwise! I introduced my group of friends and coworkers to pimento cheese, and they get Duke’s from me to make it because they agree it just has to be Duke’s!
Jason,
It’s my personal favorite. I wrote to Duke’s and told them a lot of my readers have a difficult time finding Duke’s and wonder if they might be able to direct me to a good internet source. I haven’t heard back from them yet. I hope they reply.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you visit again!
Can I process this in canning jars and save on the shelf?
Jean, your comment didn’t show up under a recipe so I’m not sure which one you had in mind
